I wouldn‘t say these were life changing, but they sure were entertaining. Very much enjoyed being in the world that Siri Pettersen created with this exciting trilogy 🦅

I have read the whole trilogy by now, and I think I promised @julesG to let her know what I thought of them.
I liked the books, it was a kind of complex YA style. Easy to read, story and characters more complex.
It is just not what you would expect. Inspired by Norse mythology - I thought I would see something familiar here, but the story is ONLY inspired.
There are lengths, but overall I recommend them. There should be an English version

I was a bit concerned when I read that it's an YA book, BUT after I read it I can say it does not read like your standard YA. It's from Norway, and I hope it will be translated to English soon, because it had a bit of this classical fantasy feeling meets a Norse mythology inspired world. The author really took her time to flesh out the characters and their journey (some might say it drags a little, but I enjoyed the slower pace).
Found today in my local bookstore - fantasy from Norway.
The title would be something like Child of Odin in English, from the Ravenrings series. Can't wait to start this 😍
Catching up on the last three days of #adventrecommends with this superb fantasy trilogy ‘Ravneringene'. Fingers crossed they will be translated to English soon so more people gets to discover this great series 🤞🏻😍🦅

The writing here is so good, and I keep thinking I want it to be translated to English so all my bookish friends can read it and love it, too. I am at the beginning still, but the world building and the character development just touch me, and I am eager to know more about how things work here...
Found this series while in Norway, and it sounds so very good!
#booktober day 27: a creepy cover. Siri Pettersen's Odinsbarn must have one of the creepiest yet extremely pertinent covers ever. The second one is creepy too, but not AS creepy, and I don't own the third one yet.
This book has the most awesome characters. Hirka, Rime, Ilume, basically just all of them. I really liked this book and I hope it'll be translated into English one day, because this is a really good fantasy book!
Oh my god - this is amazing! I wish baby Iris would sleep a lot longer, because it's hard to put away!
Wow, this book was amazing - nordic mythology mixed with fantasy 😍
