6 posts | 6 read | 1 reading | 9 to read
Alerted to strange happenings in Clayton Falls, Colorado, Bobby sends the boys to check it out. A speeding car with no driver, a homeless man pursued by a massive Gila monster, a little boy chased by uprooted trees it all sounds like the stuff of nightmares. The boys fight to survive a series of terrifying nighttimes, realizing that sometimes the nightmares dont go away even when youre awake... A Supernatural novel that reveals a previously unseen adventure for the Winchester brothers, from the hit TV series!

If you enjoy the show Supernatural, but haven't read the books, I highly recommend them. They're all by different authors, so some are better than others, but it's a nice way to revisit the Winchesters.

Roary47 I have the first one on my TBR it‘s good to hear they are worth the read. I finished the series and still can‘t find a replacement. 😞 1y

October 11 #AutumnPlease Small Town Theme I love Supernatural. Watched every season. Love these two actors as well. So it's fitting to find this book for the theme. @Eggs @Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks

Pickpick

This was one of the best Supernatural tie-ins I've read so far. It would have made a fantastic episode, though I think they would have had to omit some of the grosser bits for the TV audience. I actually had to skip a couple paragraphs that left me particularly 🤮.

Marni I didn‘t know there were book tie ins. Awesome! 4y
Traci1 @Marni yes! They're all different authors, and some are better than others, but most are pretty good. I think there are 16 all together. 4y

It takes a lot in a book to make me feel icky, but this. Yuck. Spiders are not my thing, and this one is apparently the size of a bus. 🚍🕷Beware the creepy flesh-sucking bus spiders, y'all!

Almost done with this story. Pretty darn good. Can‘t wait to see how this ends.

KathyWheeler I don‘t always like novelizations of Supernatural, but this one was pretty good. 7y
HollyMcMiller Yeah a few of them have been hit or miss. I still enjoy them because it‘s more adventures with the Winchester Brothers 7y
