#NFNov I was a few years too old for the Spice Girls,but my eldest daughter was obsessed with them,to the point of having a “Spice Girls Theme” birthday party(yes, I dressed up as Sporty Spice🤦🏻‍♀️)so it was interesting to get a bit of background on the girls.Her husband sounds like a real prince,mental abuse can be far more damaging than physical,believe me I know. She does come across as very much Me Me Me at times. #TIL-NEVER make a sex tape!

Tonight‘s #NFNov book is Mel.B‘s memoir. The former Scary Spice has had a rough couple of years, including an abusive husband & leaked sex tapes. Paired with my homemade Chicken Stir Fry made with my secret sauce(all handmade & fresh). Yum. (It was amazing by the way, I‘ve already finished it!) What‘s your #BookAndDinner tonight? #TIL - Mels ex husband kept a safe full of sex tapes to keep her under control. Awful man.😡

Very good. It does what it says on the tin it is Brutally Honest!!! Painful and heartbreaking at times but it shows that the truth behind how domestic violence can wreck a person. Even though there are many funny moments and took me back to the heyday of the Spice Girls, this is about one women's struggle not just with getting out a horrible marrrige but how she is rebuilding her life now. Recommend especially if you grew up with the Spice Girls.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ What the what? I grabbed this recent Audible deal not knowing much about Mel B‘s life. She goes deep into her past relationships including a quite messed up marriage that lasted 10 years, produced her third daughter, & yielded 50+ sex tapes (some w/ disturbing content). That husband was a real piece of ... work. Scary Spice has been through some shit & does not sugarcoat nor discount the unhealthy ways she coped. Brutally honest, indeed.
