This was not the Elin Hilderbrand for me. Turns out, I do not like books where the focus is an affair. I did like the parts about the gala, Claire‘s glass blowing, Gavin, and Siobhan but really did not like the Claire/Lock storyline. I would have DNFed if it wasn‘t for the Elin H project.

Quick read during a sleepless night. I knew almost immediately what was going to happen even going in blind to the story but I still enjoyed it. ⭐️⭐️⭐️
I‘m posting one book a day from my massive collection. No description, no reason for why I want to read it (some I‘ve had so long I don‘t even remember why!). Feel free to join in!

It took a few years to read down my thrifted EH books while keeping up with her new releases. NowI‘m working down my Libby TBR of her earlier works… There was a phase in my life were it seemed everyone I knew was involved in affairs. Of course I had opinions. So it‘s good to read of fictional affairs where I don‘t react based on my own self-centered desire for what that relationship meant to my life.

Another compelling listen by EH but I pretty much hated all of the main characters, especially the hypocritical mean af best friend of the main character, Claire. Wasn‘t too happy with the ending either. But I still sped through it. 🤷🏻♀️ 3⭐️

When I go to take a book picture, the cats have to join me 😹
I finished my third Elin Hilderbrand book this morning and I didn‘t love this one. The characters were rather annoying and the premise felt a little too over the top for me. At least now I have finished her Nantucket series though! 3/5 ⭐️

I read this so long ago that I really don‘t remember it!! I‘m sure it fits the prompt though 🤷🏼♀️
I love Elin Hilderbrand but this one was a little slower than her others.
