2022 Reads Continued

TGAT:S I've vowed to finish this mammoth trilogy in four parts by mid 2023. Started the series in 2016.

THATL- that Bonkers Twist was not good. Think it's my least favourite of Sagers

Friends, I am determined to finish this book in the next few days. Look how close I am! I'm on page 829, which means I've got just a little more than 200 pages to go! 🤓📚💕 I'll be sad to reach the end, but also excited to start the next series by this author! Also, Chaplin said he would help me finish it! 😹 #catsoflitsy #littenkitten #chaplin

MayJasper Well if Chaplin said so you'll have no problem 😊 4y
Branwen @MayJasper Right?! If he believes in me than I totally have a shot! 😁 4y

#thoughtfulthursday @MoonWitch94

✈ I was planning to go to Paris in September, but the flight's been canceled so I'm going to reschedule it for next spring!

📚 I've just started The Dead Zone by Stephen King, began rereading The Mortal Instruments series by Cassandra Clare, and continue making a dent in To Green Angel Tower by Tad Williams. I'm on page 253 out of 1067! 😁

💖 Having my tea in bed with the cats and reading. It's so cozy!

MoonWitch94 Paris is on my bucket list. I want to see Versailles 🤩. 4y
MoonWitch94 I bet spring will be a glorious time to visit. 4y
Branwen @MoonWitch94 Yes! I think so too! I also want to see Versailles! And see all the cafes that Hemingway and the rest of the lost generation frequented! 😍🗼💕 4y

wanderinglynn Oh, springtime in Paris! You‘ll love it. 💜 4y
Branwen @wanderinglynn I think so too! I'm trying to look at postponing the trip as a blessing in disguise! 😀 4y
wanderinglynn In my opinion, there‘s never a bad time to go to Paris. But spring just seems extra special. I‘m sure you‘ll be happy it worked out like this. 4y
Branwen @wanderinglynn I totally agree! Plus April is my birthday month, so if I can go then that would be even more magical! 💕🗼 4y
wanderinglynn Oh yes! And being in Paris for your birthday should totally make up for this year‘s stay-at-home bday. 💕🌷 4y
Megabooks I‘ve heard Paris in spring is beautiful, but I‘m sorry you don‘t get to go sooner! 4y
Branwen @Megabooks Thank you! 🤗 I'm definitely trying to look on the bright side! 4y

Picked up some flowers today for my balcony! I love this time of year because it's so nice to sit out there and read! 😀🌻🥀🌹 My own private, quiet, flowery paradise! 😁 I've also picked this heavy tome back up again, after a bit of a hiatus. I love this world and Tad Williams' writing so much. It's a real pleasure to come back to it! 💕📚

Just picked up the newest Tad Williams book, Empire of Grass, and wanted to see how pretty they all look together! 😍 I just started To Green Angel Tower, which is over a thousand pages, so I have quite a way to go before I read through all of these, but so far I'm loving these series! Tad Williams is a complete master at writing epic fantasy stories with many complex and intriguing characters. I love being lost in his words! 💕📚💕

Ashley_Nicoletto I have been seriously debating reading these. 5y
Branwen @Ashley_Nicoletto You totally should! They're seriously incredible! 😃 5y

Happy Friday, littens! 💕 Just finished The Stone of Farewell the other night and now I'm starting the third and final book of this trilogy! 📚 I really love this series so far. Very old school fantasy, which I adore. 🦄 This one is huuuuuge, almost 1,100 pages! 😲 I love really long fantasy novels though, so I don't mind! There's something very comforting and relaxing about sinking into this kind of story, I think. 💕📚💕

Also, Maho says hi! 😸

GrilledCheeseSamurai Huuuuuge Tad Williams fan here! Osten Ard is right up there with Middle Earth on places I wanna vacation! 😍 5y
Branwen @GrilledCheeseSamurai YAAASSSS! That is so freaking awesome! I have completely fallen for his writing! It's so detailed and rich, you know? The first thing I ever read if his was The War of the Flowers! Spectacular! I own his Shadowmarch seties but haven't read it yet. Which of his works are your favorite? 5y
GrilledCheeseSamurai Memory Sorrow and Thorn are hands down my favorites! His new book, Empire of Grass, which is book 2 of his new trilogy set in Osten Ard comes out next week and I am SO HYPE! I also really like his Otherland series but, really, if Tad writes it, I read it! 😍 🤗 5y

Branwen Ooooh, I will have to check out his Otherland series! Thanks! I have The Witchwood Crown and preordered Empire of Grass! 😆 It will probably take me forever to get to them though, since To Green Angel Tower is so marvelously long! 😁 5y

tournevis The Kammen book was 900+, but there is a longer work by Pierre Nora, which has three volumes comprised f several tomes each. Though that probably doesn't count. Funny, I talled about Kammen today in class. 7y
Kammbia1 Islandia by Austin Tappan Wright coming in at 1012 pages. 7y
