A YA urban fantasy story of a girl who feels like an outcast in a family of witches until one day a stranger shows up at her family store asking for assistance in finding and object and in a case of mistaken identity she agrees to help, setting off a chain of events that will change her life and could destroy her family. An entertaining story, very easy read, uncomplicated plot. It's no Harry Potter but that's OK. :)

Tamarin is 17 & comes from a long line of witches but unlike her sister & cousins, her Talent didn‘t appear when she was 8, so she‘s always felt like an outsider. While not the best YA I‘ve read, it was enjoyable, there‘s time travel & it starts on/mentions #Halloween. It ended on a cliffhanger so I borrowed the 2nd book from my library through Libby.

Made to be home from work due to having the flu (thanks to people in grocery store that don‘t wash hands or cough out into public air) so decided to try and read a little while terrible headache is under control.
I‘m reading, son watching football and dogs trying to get warm by the fire. Brrrrr. 20 degrees here and icy.
