As if 17-year-old Alexandra Lucas' anxiety disorder isn't enough, mysterious holograms suddenly appear, heralding the end of the world. They bring an ultimatum: heed the warning and step through a portal-like vertex to safety, or stay and be destroyed by a comet that is on a collision course with Earth. The holograms, claiming to be humans from the future, bring the promise of safety. But without the ability to verify their story, Alex is forced to consider what is best for her friends, her family, and herself. To stay or to go. A decision must be made. With the deadline of the holograms' prophecy fast approaching, Alex feels as though she is living on a ticking time bomb, until she discovers it is much, much worse.

Finished the Consider book for 9 days and I love it. And there‘s part 2 of the book so I‘m gonna borrow it from the library. Question: If the world is about to end, (“Knock on Wood”), Would you choose to travel into a different dimension and survive or stay and Rest In Peace? #motivationalmonday #consider #kristyacevedo

Terrible news today for some authors I've gotten to "know" well on Twitter in the past few years. Jolly Fish Press is shutting down, leaving many writers in a lurch. Support these authors if you can! Their books are truly great! ?

theshrinkette 💔Jerkbait is such a good book, I hope people will continue to have access to it. 8y
rachelm A great way to help these authors is request for your local libraries to order them! 8y
BookishFeminist Thanks for sharing this today 💔 I reposted this news to my page hoping it'll reach more folks! 8y

I'm just barely on the pick side of so so on this one. The author does a magnificent job putting the reader in the head of someone with severe anxiety. And there's good stuff in here about relationships and some creative sci fi. But I had a hard time buying a couple of plot points and the should I/shouldn't I conflict for the main character got annoying. Still, I'd recommend it for peeps interested in anxiety issues. 8:30 into #24in48

A quick summer read that was great! Local author, locally placed but "out of this world"so to speak. @KristyAcevedo I was pleasantly surprised and cannot wait for the next one.

Read through it in two sittings. A hologram opens to a new world: do you go or stay? Refuse to put a spoiler in the review, but the ending is great. Needless to say, need the sequel when it comes out.

This book showed up unexpectedly in the mail! A girl sees holograms of people proclaiming to be from the future and sharing some devastating news. Can she trust what they say?

As the author of CONSIDER, I loved writing the first book of the HoloSeries. I hope you'll give it a shot and tell me what you think. No spoilers, please! :)
