Very good. Even though at the start of this book I didn't like the characters and how the story was panning out, it changed course halfway through and won me round. I loved the first book PS I Love You so much that I was getting so frustrated with not liking it that I considered bailing but when it changed I absolutely loved it as it dealt with death so compassionately that it had me crying so much and loving the story.

I really enjoyed this one, it was a really good sequel to the original and kept the same kind of tone.
It's a while after Gerry has died and Holly has a new boyfriend Gabriel, she think she is moving on and doing alright.
Then the whole PS I love you saga comes flooding back when she is reminded of it a by a lady one day.
She is asked to join her PS I love you Club.
A club where the members are dying of terminal illnesses just like Gerry...

I loved the original but this was so refreshing and a total different direction to the first novel in the sequence.
Since the death of Gerry, Holly has been struggling to move on.
She has met a new man Gabriel and things are ticking along but one day after doing a podcast with her sister about the PS I love you letters a lady approaches her to ask if she could come to their club of the same name.
Oh my heart after reading this. It was so heartbreakingly good. Holly is still dealing with the death of her husband Gerry 7 years before. When she goes on her sisters podcast and talks about her “P.S. I love you” letters that Gerry wrote to her. A group of people who are dealing with their own terminal diagnoses reach out to her to write their own letters with her help. Holly isn‘t so sure about helping but she does.

I really loved this, I enjoyed the original and this was such a worthy follow up.
After Gerry died Holly is struggling to move on and find happiness with her new boyfriend Gabriel.
Then a lady asks her to join her PS I love you club.
Shocked that her story has touched the hearts of others she ends up going along and seeing what this is all about.
What she finds out changes her life and she sees that Gerry's act of love has helped others too.

Nothing to me says new beginning like Holly finding purpose after Gerry‘s death. It was a rebirth to who she is now that he has been gone for 7 years. #tarottakeover

This was good but it took a while to get into. And I also never read the first book. Which was fine but I think that might have made me appreciate it more.

A little less polish than the original, but the same good writing. The storyline was mostly believable, but some plot devices were a bit basic & cliche. Regardless, I found myself wrapped up in the story & enjoying where the pages took me. I very rarely cry at books, but a piece of this did hit me right in the feels. Bonus points for that. Takeaway thoughts: Not as good as the original, but a good story all the same. Definitely worth a read.
1. Postscript by Cecelia Ahern
2. Lack of structure or cohesiveness

I didn‘t realize how much of a soft spot for Holly and Gerry. To be gifted with a continuation of Holly journey 7 years after Gerry‘s death was heart warming, heart breaking and everything in between.

This is a must read if you love PS, I Love You. I love that it is written from Holly‘s perspective as you are given flashbacks of her and Gerry‘s relationship through her thoughts. I like that her friends/family are still in her life and that she has a boyfriend. I think The PS, I Love You Club has a very positive message and I think it‘s healing for Holly. This sequel is definitely more of a tear jerker than PS, I Love You but still just as good.
Soooooo many great thoughts and lines that I‘d be posting like a maniac. First book in a long time that I‘m having trouble putting down to go to sleep!
The vibe feels different than PS I Love You, but I feel like it‘s satisfying in its own way.
I read PS, I Love You years ago and loved it. This sequel was pretty darn good too!
And that makes 2 #tearjerker reads this month. #readwithMrBook
Been enjoying this to in between date next door. I read more then one book depending on mood. That‘s on borrow box though and to read in phone not same. Prepare my Paperwhite or proper book. Just not found right paper back yet. So kindle reads it is
The sequel is done!! Not only was PS, I love you amazing .. Postscript did not disappoint either. Best ending for sure!! I highly recommend reading both books!! 🥰💗📚
I am reading Postscript just now and will finish it tomorrow. This will be my last read for January I think! I am enjoying Postscript, it is sad and also full of life! #tbr
I got this from the library, I didn't read PS, I Love You, only saw the movie. It sounds really interesting so once I have gotten through my other books, will start this one! #tbr
Courtesy of #Netgalley. Loving this sweet sequel, and realising how much the movie changed the storyline.
This 3x3 grid finished just in time to begin anew for #BFCr4. Three at 4.5*=A and two at 5*=A+! I tagged the 5* that I struggled with at midpoint (for personal trigger reasons) then loved by the end.
5* = Loved It, want non-reader IRL friends to read. I do/will own a physical copy. A+
4*= Liked it a lot, would love to discuss. Solid B
3*=Meh, no need to discuss. Average C
2*=Nope D
1*=DNF F
Oh this beautiful book. At times I had to stay with a paragraph and sit with the words before I could continue.
I first read PS I Love You, but by the time it was adapted to film I was moving through the death of my own husband making the story unforgettable for me. This sequel to that book is a tale about death and grief and living. It was such a comfort to sit awhile again with Holly and read her continued journey.
I really enjoyed this sequel to PS, I Love You - I think I actually even liked it more than the first book which almost never happens! Full review is up on my blog now if you fancy reading!

Oh look what was posted on the Official Cecilia Ahern page - a repackage of the original to coordinate with the sequel! It‘s going to be a long wait for a US copy though. Good thing I‘ve been thrifting her earlier books so I can eagerly anticipate this release!
Available to request on #netgalley now!!
