I love that Lisa's books are so far removed from the general "thriller" formula. Unique characters, scenarios, and twisty crimes that take you on a windy, action-packed journey with no obvious conclusion in sight. I'm obsessed!

Police state trooper Tessa Leoni is admitting to shooting her husband dead in self defense. She claims to have been abused. But even worse, her young daughter is now missing... where did she go and will she be found before it is too late?

I really appreciated the main character, and I loved the flashbacks told throughout this story. I know a mom would do what she had to do to ensure her daughter‘s safety and Tessa Leoni did just that!

What a roller coaster that was! The 5th book in the DD Warren series and it was just fantastic. First ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ of April, just loved it. Tessa Leoni has her own mini series 😍

This seems to be the last audiobook my library has of the DD Warren series, and I‘m pleased to see the books continue with more Tessa Leoni stories! What a crazy read!

None of my holds have come available and it looks like the Library has most of the DD Warren audiobooks so I started this to pass the time while at work. Really good so far!

I‘m pretty sure this was my first Lisa Gardner,but it definitely won‘t be my last. Lots of twists and turns kept me on my toes. This was just an ‘extra‘ audiobook,which I normally listen to just at night as I‘m falling asleep,but I couldn‘t wait to get back to it this morning.

Well, this is the last one in the series that I have read before! And as this one was the most recently read (8 years ago), I actually remembered it the best. But it‘s still a fast-paced and exciting read that I couldn‘t put down! I thoroughly enjoyed this one and am excited to read the rest and continue my D. D. Warren book binge!

Snowed in, so picked up this book that has been on my to-read list for some time. First time reading this author too. So far so good!
