pickI‘m normally not a fan of books written from a child‘s point of view but this worked for me. I‘m a seasoned (older, haha) horror fan and barely any of the newer books scare me, but this had some genuinely scary parts and an overall creepy atmosphere.
I finished this a week ago cant stop thinking about the Larkin family. It is dark and complex and so well written. 5 ⭐️
Currently reading James & East of Eden. Both are excellent so far.
I loved this and did not want it to end. It reminded me of my very favorite book Olive Kitteridge. Beautifully written and heartbreaking but hopeful, too.
