This was my favorite book of the series! I enjoyed the aspect of historical mystery that was introduced. It made it a little more spooky than just sweet. I‘m always so bad at figuring out who the culprit is though! 😂

Getting a bit of a late start to the #deweys24hrreadathon, but I‘m also reading tomorrow too. Starting this one sitting in front of some hot flames!!
It‘s a gorgeous fall morning!!
My feelings toward this book are partially colored by the fact I've become burned out on Halloween cozy mysteries. It was fine and I think if it was one of the first ones I'd read I would have enjoyed it much more. 7.5 hours toward #20in4 readathon. #Scarathlon2021 #TeamSlaughter @Andrew65 @Clwojick
Reading outside for a break
This cozy was perfect for getting me in the mood for Halloween! The author‘s third (and final so far) book of the series and I hope there will be more Stella adventures to come! My only request? Stella to end up with Andy - who agrees?!
It‘s possible I‘ve lost my taste for cozy mysteries. Once I got into this one, about 4 chapters in, I was able to finish fairly quickly but the ending and solution felt forced to me. While it could have just been my mood, I probably won‘t read any more of this series. #NovelNovember
This was a cute pick for the “sweet” box from Once Upon a Bookclub! I think I knew who the murderer was towards the middle, but the author did a good job of distracting me with all sorts of crazy info.
With my recent promotion, it‘s so hard to find time for myself amidst the chaos. I was inspired by an influencer I follow to take more moments for myself, pockets of peace, to decompress. Tuesday mornings are the only time I have to myself, so I spend them reading and having lunch at the park up the street from work!
Pretty excited that my other Halloween box from Once Upon a Bookclub showed up today. I should finish my book group book tonight so after that I‘ll be working on both “spooky” and “sweet” book boxes.
A Fall season cozy mystery.I liked it.I plan on reading other books of the small series.
15 Minutes of Flame has it all, great characters, mystery, murder, betrayal, and secrets. There is a fair amount of humor too. I really enjoyed this story!

The book was a pretty quick read and it was good, but somehow I just couldn‘t really get into it. Brenda annoyed me and, maybe because I didn‘t start from the beginning of the series, I felt like we just got characters and no real info on them.
