This is my third Macomber & I'm not sure why she‘s so popular. The writing isn‘t great, it‘s adequate I guess. The characters are ok. I liked Asher more than Everly. It‘s a quick read with some amusing parts, mostly with Asher. I've collected a lot of the author's books, including a bunch of the Cedar Cove series since I enjoyed the tv series, so I‘ll keep reading her, and hopefully will enjoy some of her other books more than this one.

I felt like the story was rushed a little bit. The romance just wasn't very believable, it seemed forced at times. I did like a lot of the characters in the book, but I think I liked them more than the main couple.
It has a decent storyline, but I was hoping for more. There wasn't much Christmas in it until the end of the book, but by that point there wasn't much focus on it.
Overall, the story was just okay, nothing special to it.

Day 20: Jingle all the way

It is probably the worst book I've read all year. It's terrible. I really think only Christian women with a sex-sensitivity [or intimacy-sensitivity] will enjoy this book. It's a disaster on paper. I'm also incredibly confused by the title and cover art... It does not match the setting of the vast majority of the plot: an Amazon River cruise.
