Finished this duology.
I really like magician, circus type books that make them into mysterious spectacles.
I liked the first book better though. The second book had sone fun moments, but didn't flow as well. It seemed to jump around, not quite connecting all the events.

Took me fever to get through but only because I am feeling a little slumpy lately. A solid conclusion though!

Kallia was still a whiny, more concerned about herself protagonist, but Demarco really changed my mind! Also, loved learning more about Jack and the rest of the new folk.

Even though the beginning was a bit slow I stand by my 4.5 star rating because it felt like the perfect ending for this duology.
