Potato Chip Cookies (‘Kettle Cooked‘ and with oats)
This is quirky and I love it! They‘re chewy from the oats but crunchy. Sweet, but salty. I used the longer cook time because I prefer crunchy cookies.
Tweaks: I cut the sugar in half.

Love this baking Bible! Cranberry bread is perfect - not too sweet.
I‘ve tried to get started with sourdough before, but the voice of this cookbook finally got through to me. The recipes are precise (the chocolate cake recipe specifies the size for round vs square pan) and the sourdough advice is both scientific AND low pressure. Reading this makes you feel both well educated and reassured. All the 🌟s!
Because I have no self control. I love the scientific explanations and tips!
