Potato Chip Cookies (‘Kettle Cooked‘ and with oats)
This is quirky and I love it! They‘re chewy from the oats but crunchy. Sweet, but salty. I used the longer cook time because I prefer crunchy cookies.
Tweaks: I cut the sugar in half.

mabell Yes! That must be the same! They came out with 10 variations last year, and one was Crumb Lovers - with double the crumb! And we thought the original had too much 😂 A really yummy recipe! I think I‘ll try it again next weekend! 10mo

I usually make a list for our summer trip to Connecticut & the Book Barn visit. 😁 My birthday is coming up, though, and I love the recipes they print in the catalog. I'll definitely stop by the library to take a look, though! Definitely post anything else you make! 4y

I‘ve tried to get started with sourdough before, but the voice of this cookbook finally got through to me. The recipes are precise (the chocolate cake recipe specifies the size for round vs square pan) and the sourdough advice is both scientific AND low pressure. Reading this makes you feel both well educated and reassured. All the 🌟s!
