Nothing like a hurkle durkle with a book and coffee to start the morning.
Finally reading this before the show comes out!
WHEW what a wild ride! I picked this up for a beach read, for the vacation I leave for tomorrow. It‘s finished 😂 oops!
Does anyone else get the urge to ready scary books and watch scary movies around this time every summer?
I‘m getting into audiobooks (finally) and today it dawned on me I can play them through my giant Bluetooth lantern while I sunbathe on the porch 😂☀️
Sadly, my library wouldn‘t purchase this one. At least I get to keep it forever! ☺️
Hey Alexa, play “Don‘t You Forget About Me”. This being the title of chapter one, I had to listen to it! 😈🎃🖤
It seems like the last month has just gotten away from me. Still working on this one! I‘ll gladly take any spooky seasons book recommendations though! 🎃🖤👻
As is tradition, my library hold was ready right when I‘m 100 pages into The Dutch House and also reading Ways of the Househusband 😂
Is it just me, or does anyone else reserve a lot of books at the library, and they magically all become ready at the same time? Good thing my library has done away with late fees 😅
Biology is weird and inherited trauma is real. Nothing has soothed my anxiety and my frustrations with having anxiety and panic attacks quite like this book has. So far, we like.
I love that I figured out my library loans out coffee table books. This is a painting of my Ohio River, no wonder I was drawn to it! ☺️
I felt every emotion while reading this. Please, if you‘re at all interested in Appalachia, do yourself a favor and read this. Please. I promise it‘s not all how it is portrayed.
Time to start this one! I went to Jeju when I was 14 years old, and I‘d give anything to go back. 🧜♀️
Loved this book. However, ⚠️TRIGGER WARNING⚠️ description of rape starting on the last page of chapter 87 and continues through chapter 88. Just wanted to give you folks a warning before you stumble on it.
