Loved every minute of this book! A cute little friends-to-lovers romance with some fake dating thrown in. Very sweet!

While I did enjoy the book, I found that it didn't completely hit the spot. I feel like it was a bit of a letdown toward the end there. It had a great buildup to their relationship, but it didn't feel right, it all happened too easily. I also felt like all the problems were smoothed over without actually being dealt with. I didn't really notice any of the issues until after I finished the book and really took the time to think about it.
This was a cute and funny romcom about two best friends who are so clueless that they are in love. It was a fun easy read though I wanted to shake the female protagonist a few times. 3.5⭐️
4/5 ⭐️ Sweet sports romance, which is definitely a sub-genre I don't go for often as I'm not a sporty person. The only big issue I had was with the female audiobook narrator whose voice was so high and squeaky, especially when she was doing the sister's voice 🙉
This was a good book, I enjoyed reading this book. Sarah Adams is becoming one of my new favorite authors. I rated this book a 3 out of 5 stars.
I've never cringed so hard at a book. Everything about it was a cringe-fest.
The main character being called "Bree Cheese" ?
The "cheat sheet" ?
Just everything ?
I am friends with lots of guys, and I can hand on heart say that no men would sit around a whiteboard and plan how a guy can get a girl with suggestions such as "Hold hands" or "Touch her arm while talking". That's what teenage girls do, not a football team ?
Just terrible.
I LOVE a good sports romance more than anything, and a good friends to lovers makes me feel so warm. I am addicted to Nathan, and I loved how the book title related to the story. Bree wasn‘t always my favourite, but I think that‘s because she reminded me a bit too much of myself. The ending had my giggling like a little kid. It was just too cute.
Light, clean romance that is set up as friend-to-lovers with a little fake-dating trope thrown in (but kind of forgotten about). It got better as it went on, but I think I like her other books more. #ISpyBingo: uniform (this was a tough month for this bingo card- only got 3!)
Cute! It ended up moving fast towards the middle/end, which isn‘t really a bad thing. There was a great view of mental health and an awesome support of each other throughout. I liked their chemistry, too! A little cringe at times but they played it off well 😂
Friends to lovers under a fake dating trope. Even though it took a bit to get to that, it worked as the characters already know each other. However, I found Bree annoying & childish mainly because of the narrator had a young voice that came across as a whiney teen.
This story had changing POVs, from Bree to Nathan. But it's more 75% Bree, 25% Nathan. Honestly, I think this story would have been much stronger had it been mostly Nathan.

Cute and engaging enough on #audio to keep me listening but a little saccharine and predictable. #bookspinbingo #awesomeapril @TheAromaofBooks @Andrew65
Pros: So cute. Bree & Nathan are great charactors; people I could be friends w so I was happy they finally got together. The scenes w Nathan & his teammates, esp the planning session, were some of the best scenes I've read in a while!
Cons: It was too cute. I got tired of their inner thoughts about how amazing, gorgeous, generous, hot, wonderful, caring the other was. About half of those thoughts could have been cut w/o compromising the story.
I thoroughly enjoyed this best-friends-to-lovers romance. Bree and Nathan have been besties since high school. Both think the other has friend zoned them. After an adorable drunk almost confession from Bree that goes viral, the pair start fake dating. There are so many great moments all adding up to a fun read. The “exit friend zone” planning session was probably my favorite.
CW: panic attacks
I'm about a third of the way into this and, on the one hand, it is kind of adorable but, on the other hand, I'm not sure I can take much more second hand embarrassment.
I just got a notification that an audiobook I can't recall placing on hold is available. Checked the synopsis and I'm not feeling enthusiastic. 😕 Oh well. I'll give it a try after the one I just started.
Fun and sweet. After all the hundreds of romance books I've read, it's nice to still be surprised.
I got this very cheap Bluetooth remote control that works so well with the Kindle app. No more hand cramps from holding my tablet, haha.
Lately, I've been drawn to the romantic comedy novels with a 🔥level spice of neutral. The last part of the book seemed rushed, and wrapped up with a pretty bow 🎀. I do however, I appreciate when authors creatively write desireable characterists of it's male characters. 🏈+🩰=📝
This is a super sweet (seriously, you should brush your teeth after every chapter to avoid cavities) romance that I wish I had known going in that it was Closed Door Romance- a term I hadn't heard before. Not a clean romance, but definitely the banging happens off screen. But it was cute, and I finished it on Super Bowl Sunday, so I loved the parallel.

Overall I‘m going to give this a pick, because it was super cute and fun. However the characters felt more YA then adult and that really drove me nuts.
3.5/5⭐
I really need more football romances in my life..

DISLIKES
👎Lack of conflict elicits boredom
👎I wanted to shake the MCs out of the friend zone
👎PG rating
✨ super adorable characters
✨ bubbly & funny narration that doesn‘t stray into immature/annoying territory.
- there is literally .02% conflict. Almost all of which can be, & is, solved by a single 2m (ok, maybe 5m) conversation
- BFF-to-lovers is not really my thing & this doesn‘t have me convinced tbh
Overall: if you‘re looking for straight-up brain candy this is for you, but if you want more meat in your plot then carry on. ★★★☆☆.
This is cute premise but if I could reach through the pages and slap Bree I would. Her river of denial is the size of the Atlantic and its aggravating.
