pickSeveral secondary characters were amazing! But on the other hand the main character wasn't likewise brilliant. Shiori was okay as a main character and I still liked to do this journey with her.
This was really adventurous book and had so many twists. It was nice to go with the flow without being able to guess what's going to happen next.

so-soThe Dragon‘s Promise took a while to reach a steady flow of narrative. There is a great mix of romance, action, and lore, it just takes the story a little while to uncover it. And while it has its downfalls, the story does come to a satisfying ending.

Here's a very ambitious TBR for December, considering that all I've been doing lately is starting books, and taking a long time to finish them. 🥲
pickI loved everything about this conclusion. The world building is fantastic, the villains are horrible in the best possible way and then the characters just bring it all together. Shiori's relationships with Takkan, her six brothers and Kiki add so much to this. To top it off the dragons and their underwater kingdom and the islands of demons took this to another level.

Shiori is an amazing MC. Her stubbornness and humor make her such a fun character to follow. I love the sequel as much as the first book, which says quite a lot.
This duology makes me want to read the original fairytale but also, there‘s no way it‘s as good as these books🤷🏻♀️
