#TBRtemptation post! Littlefield, Massachusetts, is one of the country's 10 Best Places To Live. Sociologist Dr. Clarice Watkins, shows up to study the town--it's fine schools & college professors, it's great sports teams & leafy streets. But when she arrives, the town's dogs begin to get poisoned! Is the off-leash proposal for the park driving this, or are there deeper reasons behind the lawns' beautiful facades? #blameLitsy #blameMrBook 😎
Thanks to a bad migraine I stayed at home with green tea, a tuna sandwich and a book while the husband and my mum took the kids out to Santouka ramen for lunch. A short nap (and pain meds) later and things are finally better. Have put on Totoro for the kids to watch and am about to finish this book. But first time to visit my Litsy friends and add some S American reads to my list! Hope you're having a good Sunday or Monday! What are you reading?
The saddest adult lesson of all: that so much of life was just something to get through.
Littlefield, Massachsetts has been named the 6th best place to live in the US. If this is true, why does a small insular town need nearly 2,000 psychotherapists and psychiatrists? Why has someone begun poisoning the dogs in the town? Delightful read with loads of quirky, wealthy dingbat residents.
Littlefield, Massachusetts is considered the 6th best place to live in the US, but can this be true? A disproportionate number of its residents are psychologists and someone is poisoning the dogs of that town. Just started the audio on my walk today and enjoying it at the 35% mark.
