A graphic novel queer retelling of Northanger Abbey set on a ranch in Texas. Cade Munoz is a horror movie fan with an overactive imagination and a huge crush on the son of his summer employer. So far, so cute.

Soft pick for this Northanger Abbey graphic novel retelling but only because it was a bit more YA than I wanted. But I thought the gothic parallels were well done and highlighted the fear of being queer in rural Texas. Cade's Hispanic heritage also added to the feeling of being an outsider. Overall it was a great adaptation of characters and story for a modern time

Loving this graphic novel and this nod to Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Well done.
Loved this graphic novel that reinterprets Northanger Abbey to modern day small town Texas with queer and bipoc rep.
Was going to take a pic of just the book, but Tilney (who incidentally is named after the male protagonist in OG Northanger) struck a truly awkward half asleep pose that had to be shared with y‘all 😹 #catsoflitsy
Loved. It.
Northranger is a gay modern Texan take on Northanger Abbey. There's summer work at a ranch, twins who love each other unconditionally, a spooky house on a lake, family secrets, catastrophic misinterpretations, and two horror-movie fanboys finding their way towards first love.
This looks cute! Libby borrow.
