1) Although I have several different genre‘s I read my first is romance. My Favorites are Johanna Lindsey and Nora Roberts as they where two of the authors I learned to read
2) none recently but in the past one or two had me stop reading because they did not grab my interest at the time.
3) I am grateful for many things one of them includes Litsy 🤗 thank you @Eggs
@NatalieR if you‘ve not done this try it 🤗
Loop Head is about 50 miles from the more touristy Cliffs of Moher. It's where River Shannon flows in to the Atlantic. Maybe 6 people there that day. No fences or guard rails. Just a stunning view.
One of my favorite memories of Ireland:
Himself - "Which Guide Book did you find this in? Lonely Planet?"
Me - "Nora Roberts - Born in Fire" ?

The awesome @Ddzmini gave me these in the #myfavoritebookswap and I‘ve already devoured book 1. It was exactly what I needed—a beautiful, happy escape. And it‘s made me yearn to return to Ireland. 🇮🇪
Thanks Danielle! I enjoyed book 1 immensely. 😀
I have ancestors who came over from Ireland so I‘m biased with any book set in that particular land!! However, this book was breathtaking from start to finish. Learning about glassblowing, which by the way is a form of magic in my opinion, and reading the amazing descriptions of Ireland just made this book WONDERFUL!!!
Excellent so far. I'm up to chapter 9.
Maggie is stubborn, but I think she's falling for Rogan Sweeney.
He seems annoying yet handsome

Day 30: Book Haul #booksacrossoceans
I went to a secondhand book sale. And I had so much hunting the books that I want and get them on weight!! Here's my August haul. What did y'all get?
My cousin recommended this series for a sweet romance. Just finished this the first in the trilogy - this was a much needed break! I needed this easy romance. A perfect escape. Good thing my library has the series available.
❤️📚What's your favorite Nora Roberts book?📚❤️

Most people go to Cliffs of Mohr but Loophead Lighthouse in County Clare Ireland is so much better. Hardly any people, no fences, you can get as close to the edge as you dare. Site of one of my all time favorite book discussions.
Husband: This place is awesome. Which guidebook did you find it in? Lonely Planet?
Me: Nora Roberts Born in Fire.

It's been years since I've read a Nora Roberts books and this one did not disappoint. It did take me awhile to finish, but that was due to the "outside world" and nothing to do with the book itself (just my own personal note on why it took awhile- maybe I feel guilty?). Maggie is a strong-headed female lead character who doesn't take crap from anyone and I love that.
"Born in fire you were, like one of your finest and boldest statues." That moment when you read the title within the pages. And so early on in this book (page 12).
Conversation w/ Husband while standing on the edge @ Loophead in Co Clare Ireland.

I picked this up after an emotionally raw read, looking for something light and easy. It delivered. Lovely descriptions of the setting, family drama and romance. This is the first in a trilogy, set in Ireland. It was a good book to get me over the book hangover I was feeling. I liked it enough to pick up the next one in the series.
