I found these that look interesting. You may have already read some of them. I was looking for books with the most reviews. Let me know what you think.
‘“Should I call them out?” He asked.
I chuckled blinked back at unshed tears.
“I am in earnest.” He rubbed his chin and narrowed his eyes. “We‘ll have to duel in the morning on the moors. Plenty of fog. It will be quite dramatic, I dare say. And I will shoot him to avenge your honor.”‘
This book was so enjoyable. It definitely fit the description of Pride and Prejudice meets Little Women. I had a feeling throughout what the ending would be, but the story leading up to that ending kept it enjoyable. Chosen by a friend who decided to start a book club. But it also fits #newtomeauthor for #booked2019

Good story! Though much more dramatic than I thought it was going to be. I do wish there had been a bit more in the ending about the secondary characters but I‘m glad it ended how it did.
So, as it turns out, I do have books with headless covers on my shelves. I've never really noticed.
This is a sweet romance. I really enjoyed it. There were times that I was annoyed with the protagonists, as there often are in romances, but the reasons felt time and place appropriate. It gave me all the feels.

Oh wow, this book. This is romance written in a fine and beautiful way with intense emotions based on a relationship built with trust and friendship. If you're looking for sexual exploits, this is not your book. Refreshing to see a relationship grow sans sex. The relationship in this book blossomed and their love grew—a love story done well, delightful through and through. {I finished this book on Sept 13, 2016}
Bonus that this book is set by the sea. Well, and a mysterious house on the moors. Great atmosphere, luscious Regency romance, plucky heroine, dashing hero. All things I love in my romance books. This one had a slightly darker tone than Donaldson's previous book, due to the heroine's dysfunctional family, surrounding scandals, and recurring imagery of a bird locked in a cage. But still satisfying.

I need a proper Regency romance where I know that the heroine will end up happy and in love. I stayed up too late with this and will finish today. I love Julianne Donaldson in that she writes a relatively realistic romance for the time period. It's 1820 so our heroine has scandalized her hostess solely by being outdoors for the sunrise with her hair all wild. I love it!
I can never look at a bird without thinking of you,“ he said. "I wonder what you will do with your wings once you have found them. I wonder how far away they will take you. And I fear them, for my sake, at the same time that I hope for them, for yours.
