I‘ve been calling this series a “cozy” urban fantasy, and I stand by that description for the first two books. There is nothing cozy about this book. The violence is more graphic and there is a sexual relationship between two consenting adults. That said, I definitely think this a good continuation of the series and I would recommend it to anyone who is not too squeamish.

Following TheEllieMo‘s lead, I‘ll try to post one book a day from my massive collection. No description, no reason for why I want to read it (some I‘ve had so long I don‘t even remember now why!). Thanks for the idea @TheEllieMo !

I‘m just super in love with this series! She always casts just enough doubt that you‘re not completely sure of the killer. I adored the evolution of the relationship- yay! Starting. The 4th one and sad that it‘s the last. I never would‘ve picked these up if not for #coffeebeanbookclub , I also know there‘s a July cozy hashtag I should be using but can‘t remember it or who to tag other than @Avanders 😂

I love Carrie and I'm excited to have the complete Harper Collins series now. I'll have to read Beartown before I get to Us Against You.

Ick. A well written mystery with an interesting premise but I could have done without all the torture and violence the author seemed to revel in sharing. Ick ick
