pickListened to this book today and it was sad, it was amusing, and it was wonderful. How does Bachman have so much insight without actually being in that situation. His imagination certainly has not left him. For anyone who has a parent or loved one suffering the ravages of altzheimer‘s or dimentia, this book will make you look at it differently. pick2017 #108 SciFi Audio this was written in the early to mid 80s and it shows. The gender dynamic is dated but the story was decent. I don't know if I love it enough to read more. The others seem to have better ratings but meh. Decent story just not awe inspiring.
