Finished this one for a #Bingo! in my #BookSpinBingo board. It‘s the first one I have done diagonally! These books are so much fun to listen to. The narrator is wonderful and the stories give such a great break from serious things. #118 #BookSpinBingo #21 #SERIES2021 #20in4 #FallIntoReading #SeriesSeptember

TheAromaofBooks Yay!!! 3y
Andrew65 Well done, a series I want to get to but hard to get hold of in the UK. I am slowly working my way through her Molly Murphy series. 3y
Allylu @Andrew65 I usually listen to the audiobooks. I want to read the Molly Murphy series, too! 3y
Andrew65 @Allylu That‘s the way I have done the Molly Murphy Series. Only read the first 4 so a long way to go. 3y

#118 of 2020. This is a book delving into the idea of being able to experience various different lives you could have lived based on your choices. This book has a deep sadness to it. It also shines a light on the intrinsic value of our lives whether we feel worthy or not. Is the life we think we would want really better? I must admit I cried. Not too many books do that to me. It really made me reflect. Enjoyed it! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

#matthaig

smalldogs_bigbooks2419 I‘ve started it and then got distracted by another book. I don‘t remember which. I‘ll definitely be going back to it though. 4y
DarkMina @BookBudget19 This was definitely a different type of book than I usually read. Let me know what you think! 4y

#118 of my year and can I just say that if a new Michael Connelly can‘t pull me out of a depression slump I don‘t know what would! Let‘s see what Haller & Bosch get up to, I love when they work together. Also I‘m listening to Paper Birds (acoustic) Ekko & Sidetrack, Ruth Royall and also Off The Table Ariana Grande & The Weekend I couldn‘t pick which one I loved more so I put both lol 💛

Caffeinated_Reader @CaffeineAndCandy definitely ❤️ before the chaos of the day begins hehe it‘s only 6:46am here in Cali, zoom meetings & life starts at 9 gotta enjoy while I can 🥵 4y
Caffeinated_Reader Holy fuck.
That was a mind fuck. Completely.
Why would you do that to Haller, Connelly? I hope that there isn‘t an alternate universe out there where he actually exists lmao because that was sooo much trial and tribulation for virtually nothing. The scariest thing is defending an innocent person. Connelly nailed it with this one.

Caffeinated_Reader The up‘s were waaay up and the downs were bleak as fuck. My only complaint is that, in my opinion, Bosch would have come up with the winning knowledge of everything FBI related waaay before it actually came about. 4y
Caffeinated_Reader Although for all we know, Bosch could have been the one to slide the report under the door, or he could have been the one to persuade Ruth to. Either way this was another brilliant telling. I truly hope shit works out between Haller and mcfeirce! (edited) 4y

Book #118 and my last of 2019!!! It‘s the last of the series and quite different from the other books. It‘s a nice conclusion but sad to say goodbye. 😢

2017 #118 YA audio it was a beautifully narrated book with a wonderful story and richly described characters. Interesting jumping point to discuss immigration and worker's rights as well as racism, the Dust Bowl, and the American dream. The author's note gives an amazing depth to the work. Want to learn more.
