My reading plans are:
This week's reading in "The Children's Book" for #children
This week's reading in "Grapes of Wrath"
After that I'll see what I do.

I finished only three in my #4in48Readathon. I think my audiobook ran over midnight but I‘m counting it anyway😂. All three books were great. Highly recommend all.
I'm happy I managed 2.5 books, out of the #4in48Readathon. This means 2 books off #MountTBR and two books closer to my personal goal of reading at least 12 physical copies off my shelves.
I like-hate this book. I want to slap both protagonists with the book for their stupid behaviour. Hoping for a plot twist here. They try to proof nearly every cliché there is about Essex girls. 🙈🙈🙈

“If you don't sail high, with the risk of crashing and burning, do you really live? Can you love? I doubt it. I'm ready to fly.”
Book-addict Sam attends journalism school, thanks to mysterious benefactor “Mr. Knightley,” which allows her to meet new people, confront her past, and finally engage life by herself, not through characters. It‘s an epistolary delight, a reread I enjoyed. Now, I want to read all the classics.
Book 3 ✔️ #4in48Readathon
I love Mitford's witty, satirical writing. On the other hand, she included a lot of political and socioeconomic subtext that I could only take so much of... This book has me itching to learn more about her sisters, 2 of which the characters in this book are (quite controversially) based on!
In other news, I hit a wall this afternoon (as did Chunk, pictured 🐱) and could read no further, but still managed to finish 3 books #4in48readathon 😅
Book 3 of 4
So much mush and I LOVED Every bit of it.

“Books are not about passing the time. They‘re about other lives. Other worlds. Far from wanting time to pass, one just wishes one had more of it.”
This quote from my 4th book in the #4in48readathon sums up the weekend perfectly! I had such a blast picking my books, and getting lost in the stories of these authors was the perfect way to unwind after a stressful month. I feel rejuvenated 😃
Thank you @Syndelle777 for doing this!!
And that‘s a wrap for #4in48readathon I read 4 books in 2 days. Two were short, two were normalish length (about 300 pages). Every single one was good. I haven‘t read Karin Slaughter since the Grant County series because she made me mad. But this was good stuff and I‘ll be reading more. One of the most manipulative characters I‘ve ever read, I wonder if she‘ll come back to haunt Charlie. @Syndelle777
So I started my 3rd book for #4in48Readathon.
However, I‘m already bugged. I‘ve never been to Minnesota, but you need a car in Boston, but not Minnesota.... I feel like you don‘t need a car in Boston. It‘s a lot smaller than MN...
I‘ve never read an entire story in epistolary format. Well this works.. and very well.
This novel is a fascinating portrayal of the German occupation of Guernsey, along with lovely and unforgettable characters. An extraordinary story that will tug at your heart strings.
This book is a pure gem and will forever be an all-time favorite!
