@Laughterhp thank you for hosting this amazing giveaway! I recommend the tagged book, as I saw that you like atmospheric, suspenseful mysteries. The Gothic elements in this book is superb, something akin to The Little Stranger, Sarah Waters, which you‘ve given a Pick...slowburn yet unputdownable.

This is the book I feel has the most value for the world and in particular the US. It‘s changed my way of thinking about eating, shopping, cooking and farming forever. IMHO I think it should be required reading.

I recomnend the tagged book. A lot.
I don't know why it affected me as powerfully as it did (I am not a mother) but I found this book heart wrenching. Have a box of tissues nearby. It is a simple book, but not simple.
It was a book club selection that I did not expect to like, book turned out to love.

My favorite book to recommend *recently* is “Educated.” The strength of Westover‘s writing in tandem with the bizarre/remarkable nature of her story transcends any false boundaries between readers (genre, gender, age).

Recommending the tagged book! Love the message that it‘s never too late to start fresh and follow your dreams, but also the light-heartedness of the book. It‘s also got a great storyline about friendship, and even has a little bit of romance in there.
