Went through a bit of dry spell and hoping this one does the trick.

Listening to this book by a Filipino-American author for AAPI Heritage Month. It‘s very good. #aapi #asianamericanheritagemonth
Just started this last night and am loving it! One of my favorite writers.
Reading this for my library book club. It took about 2 hours for me to start enjoying it, but now I like it. I think I just had to adjust to the quick pace.
Listening to the English translation on audio through my library‘s Overdrive. It‘s really good! From the cat‘s POV. Road trip books are great.
This has a very melancholy and lyrical feel to it.
This Romeo and Juliet retelling takes place in 1920s Shanghai. Rival gangsters and a scary monster! It‘s YA. Pretty good!
Has anyone read this series? Just started it because of the Netflix show Bridgerton. I haven‘t watched the show yet but am interested.
This one is much hyped and I‘m loving it so far.
I recently read The Good Lord Bird by this author. Then I watched the miniseries. Both book and show were fantastic. This one is really good too. And I can envision it being made into a movie.
Here‘s my #Januarywrapup. 5 star reads were My Cousin Rachel, The Midnight Library, Where the Lost Wander and A Wolf Called Wander. Awesome reading month!
I love historical fiction. It‘s probably my favorite genre. This one takes place in 1853 on a portion of the Oregon Trail. This family is headed to California but, you know, there‘s still cholera and fear of Indian tribes. It‘s gripping!
Here are my top 9 favorites of 2020. (Not necessarily published in 2020, just books I read last year.) I read 92 books in 2020 and gave 35 books a 5 ⭐️ rating. It was an awesome reading year for me.
Had an awesome reading month. Read 10 books! Woo-hoo 🥳 Tagged book was the best but Hazards of Time Travel and To Be Taught if Fortunate were also awesome! #decemberwrapup
I finished listening to this one yesterday. 5 ⭐️. Loved it! JCO is amazing!
Just started this one this morning. Apocalypse reaches Canada‘s Anishinaabe community.
Here‘s my #novemberwrapup. What a great reading month. 7 audio books, 2 physical books. Tagged book was my favorite and I just started watching the Showtime series. If it wasn‘t for audio books I would never have gotten through these two mammoth classic tomes. So so good!
I‘ve wanted to read this for decades. With my new found love of audio books, I‘m finally listening to it. Juliet Stevenson narrates. It‘s a long one, over 35 hours.
This is very good! I want to watch the tv show. Has anyone seen it yet?
This book was published in the 70s. It doesn‘t feel like it. It feels very modern. Marge Piercy is a woman on the edge of time.
I had an amazing reading month! I read 9 books. Five of these were 5 ⭐️. My favorite read this month is tagged. So many awesome books! #octoberwrapup
Just finished this one last night. So good!
I read The Silent Companions around this time last year and loved it. This one is very good too!
Even though I work at a library, I do sometimes buy myself a book that I know I‘ll really love. This just arrived today. Yay! #fivestarprediction
Saw this one announced as one of the National Book Award finalists and found it on hoopla through my library. I didn‘t know much going in. I am loving it.
Just started this one on audio, read by the author. For my library‘s virtual book club. #bookclub
I completed 4 books this month and they were all really amazing! Tagged book is my favorite. Celebrated #hispanicheritagemonth with The First Rule of Punk, a totally cute middle grade. #septemberwrapup
Just started this one for my #library #bookclub. #virtualbookclub
National Hispanic Heritage Month in the US is Sept 15 - Oct 15, so I‘m reading this adorable middle grade. This book features a 7th grade Mexican American girl adjusting to a new school. Super cute!
Just started this last night. I‘ve read Slammerkin, Frog Music, The Wonder and Akin and they were all very good and this one is too. Emma Donoghue might be one of my most read authors.
I read 6 books this month. Going back to work full time has definitely cut into my reading time, but that‘s ok. A House Without Windows was amazing. I am still working on Sacajawea by Anna Lee Waldo and am on page 636/1300 something. #augustwrapup
Just started this one on audio.
I completed 7 books this month. Yay! 6 of them were on audio. 3 five ⭐️ reads! I would also highly recommend How Much of These Hills is Gold, but it might not be for everyone. Tagged book was my favorite. #julywrapup
This one takes place during the California Gold Rush of the 1800s. #coverlove #historicalfiction
I‘ve wanted to read this for a long time. It‘s a chunky mass market over 1300 pages. My library is reopening next week so I‘ll be heading back to work full time again. Let‘s see how much of a dent I can put in this. #bigbook #ilikebigbooks
I am absolutely loving this book. I‘m all teared up most of the time listening to it. The audio narrator is perfect as Carly. It might have been nice to have a male actor do Hunter‘s voice though. This is likely going to be a 5 ⭐️ for me. I‘m about 40% in.
#top6reads of 2020 so far! Thanks for the tag @Kelly_the_Bookish_Sidekick It was a hard choice. So many 5star reads this year.
