I was watching a series, “Aliens Among Us”. One of the interviewees mentioned this book. Written by a US Army colonel in charge of Roswell crash debris/technologies. Colonel Corso‘s job at the pentagon was leaking technologies into society by releasing them to companies to reverse engineer. He claims this explains a huge boom in technology since the 1950s & similar crashes in Russia advanced their technologies. Maybe this is still happening today?

40/150 Basic Alien story: isolated colony/research station ✅ colonial marines ✅ evil corporate bureaucrats ✅ and a friggin horde of xenomorphs ✅✅. While this didn't break any new ground story wise, it was still a lot of fun, with plenty of action, gruesome deaths and narrow escapes. 3.75/5

In space, no one can hear you scream with joy as you read an alternative future for Ripley, Newt and Hicks in this enjoyable collection of pre-Alien 3 comics. The art is a mixed bag but the writing is true to the spirit of the first two films in the series. The coolest part was when the plot tackles the mystery of the “Space Jockey” twenty years before “Prometheus.” The story takes some bold swings and not all connect, but fans won‘t mind.

I‘m posting one book a day from my massive collection. No description, no reason for why I want to read it (some I‘ve had so long I don‘t even remember why!). Feel free to join in!

This is book 2 in the series and set on a BattleShip in deep space. So the setting is much different than the other books in the series I have read thus far. Also different, this one is about Prillon warriors. While a good story, I still liked the later offshoot series better. 3.5ish⭐️

Whoa Chile 🤓 this book. Do not read this on your commute, you might miss your stop. Lol I missed my train stop 😏 I had to wait 1hr for my next train. 🤭 #woc #poc #alien #fantasy

Sat down and knocked this one out. I‘m really enjoying the story, though this one is probably my least favorite so far. I think it set up a lot for the next one though. Hopefully.
