Friends reunite for the 1st time since a tragedy 12 years ago for a Christmas Party to help 1 friend “get closure”. I had it figured pretty early, but it‘s still well told & twisty considering the length of the story

I really enjoy this series. It wasn‘t as Christmassy as I was expecting, but still a good third book in the series. Book 4 will probably be on my 2025 #Roll100 list.

I‘ve listened to 5 of this 9 hour audiobook and I‘m sorely disappointed. The vast majority of the book is about King Louis in Versailles and various royal relations and mistresses and little of the “crimes.” The title especially and somewhat the book description are misleading. This month when I‘m trying to read as much as I can, I just can‘t spend the last 4 hours on it. So bailing for now. ⬇️

Parton‘s song “Coat of Many Colors” is paired with illustrations by Boynton-Hughes for a #picturebook about bullying. It‘s simple but the song lends well to a book. #BBRC #LetterC

Having discovered Jessica Redland last Christmas and enjoyed her books since, I was keen to jump into this book about Tabby setting up a Cat Cafe, which seems a novel concept. Unfortunately just before opening her partner deserts her and if that isn‘t enough she also is suffering from the debilitating condition of fibromyalgia. There also seem to be people around her that want to stop the cafe opening.
