First pick of the month! I listened to the audio but this would be a good book to own to revisit. I especially appreciated the section How to be Sane on the Internet. #NonFictionNovember #10BeforeTheEnd

4⭐Lila Grier is afraid of the “what if”. But teacher helps her through this in the kindest way possible and leads to her becoming a teacher later in life. This book rhymes throughout and it‘s very well done. The illustrations are fun but a bit old-fashioned. The historical times you expect to be but when Lila becomes a teacher the pencil skirt and heels seems a little old-fashioned, but I love it. this is a great book to add to this series

None of this is rocket science to anyone born before smart phones, had kids before the phone based childhood ( my kids born 99/02 are on the edge) and/or work in education. Girls and boyse are hit differently ( I only have boys) and at different ages. We need to return to a play based childhood at home and at school. Phones have no place at school and using them to entertain your child while you shop, drive, eat is a disaster
