When home sick I got so sucked into the tv series this year so much so i am watching the new season in live time. Books are on my wish list since from what i hear the book varies & since the book is always better...#bestseries2017

I'm cheating by calling this the #bestseries2017 since I haven't actually read the tagged book yet but the first two were phenomenal. I'm waiting for my library's co-op to add the audio to its collection so I can finally finish the trilogy. #jingleshelves

Excluding Harry Potter again because that‘s not even fair, my favorite series this year would have to be The Familiar. On top of just being a really interesting series, I also got to participate in a reading group for it which made the whole experience even better.

In the spirit of the season, I‘m picking Meg Langslow for my #bestseries2017 for #jingleshelves because I‘ve read four of the latest in the series recently and really enjoyed them. And yes I know I‘ve missed a few, but I got stuck on my best book and didn‘t recover!
My #BestSeriesof2017 is Catherynne M Valente's wonderful Fairyland series. These books perfectly strike the tone that make the best children's literature wonderful for adults too. Her fairyland is complex and imaginative, September is a marvelous hero and there's humour, wit and adventure galore! I can't wait to read the rest #BestSeries2017 #JingleShelves
There is no doubt in my mind as to which series was the #BestSeries2017 - that title belongs to the Daughter of Smoke and Bone trilogy. Taylor's writing is absolutely stunning, and I couldn't put these books down 👌
