A good accounting of just how far superstition, misinformation, tribalism, and mass hysteria can take people.

I enjoy reading Bill O'Reilly's Killing Series. I always learn so much about history. From the Salem Witch Trails to the movie The Exorcist to how the town of Salem has embraced their history for profit, Killing the Witches covers it all.

I don‘t agree with his political views but he certainly makes reading history entertaining. What I thought was just going to be a discussion about the Salem Witch Trials turned into one of religious freedoms and the American Revolution. Who knew we had a problem with the separation of church and state from the beginning!

I really liked this and was intrigued by a lot of what happened during those terrible times. Fear is a terrible thing, and the puritans let it overtake them until it completely consumed them. Such a sad time in history, and for all of those who were accused not only in Salem, but throughout the regions. Very informative novel. I scored about 2,000 word search points for #scarathlon with this book! #blackcatcrew

Little bit of car reading going on here. Loving this book so much, and it‘s so informative! Lots of stuff I never knew before about the witch trials.

MissyD I want to read this. Let me know what you think of it 2y
TheQuietQuill So far, it‘s really good. I feel like it‘s part storytelling/part informative history but in a non boring way. I‘m bookmarking a lot of pages so far because it‘s really informative. I‘m only about 50 pages in and I‘m already pretty hooked. @MissyD 2y
MissyD @TheQuietQuill thanks. I am gonna add it to my hold list at the library. 2y
