Overall, this was a pretty interesting and engaging story about the history of bourbon and some of the characters who helped shape it. I‘ve been going a bit overboard since having hit the bourbon trail in Kentucky last summer! 🥃 4/5

Today is National Bourbon Day, apparently! So, am having one even though it‘s a Monday night 🥃
I‘ve been reading this book a bit at a time since forever, because it does put one in the mood for bourbon and I can‘t have that all the time 😂. It‘s informative though!

The “James Joyce” is supposed to be made with Irish whiskey, but I only had bourbon. 🤷🏻♀️ Recipe found in this month‘s Rachael Ray Magazine.
1. Don‘t ask me why I typed “bourbon,” it was the first thing that popped into my head.
2. My thermal coffee travel mug.
3. Police procedural “The Scarred Woman” by Jussi Adler-Olsen (Sorry about not tagging...didn‘t read the full instructions...just like in school 😂)
4. Can‘t remember, but at least 5 years ago. I will say that I love tater tots, so I‘m not sure why I haven‘t eaten any in so long!
5. I‘m too embarrassed to Karaoke-maybe I need 🥃
Bought this gem at SFO on the way to the Kentucky Derby. Can't wait to dig in. I've always wanted to do a road trip with my girlfriends through the smokey mtns and along the Bourbon Trail in TN and KY. Any recos?
Always Dreaming 🐎🐎for the win! What a muddy race! I watched from my living room seat with mint julep in hand.
