How did I miss this??? I may be 6 weeks late but I‘m still going for it!!! #PopSummer2020
I saw my bestie @KarenUK using the hashtag and I thought she was trippin on the regular #Pop20 challenge
Here‘s the link: https://www.popsugar.com/entertainment/summer-reading-challenge-2020-47538152/am...

I think some of my June/July reads will work for a few prompts 🙌🏻🥳

KarenUK So excited you are joining me, my lovely! I retroactively included my June reads from before I officially started too! 😏💕 4y
Cinfhen There are a few prompts I‘m not excited about... and a few I‘m stumped on..... @KarenUK 4y
Abailliekaras This is making me dream of summer! (Winter here and i‘m unlikely to be travelling anywhere 😉). 4y

mom2bugnbee I'm going to retroactively use June & July books also! 😁 Thanks for this! 4y
aperfectmjk I don't think I would do well with this challenge... a lot of the tasks don't seem to fit my current reading plans. Big fan of challenges though, they're always a good time. Good luck to all participating. 4y
Cinfhen Good luck @mom2bugnbee 👍🏽🧡I‘m not sure how successful I‘ll be @aperfectmjk as some of the prompts are a reach for me but I‘m gonna try @Megabooks 💁🏼‍♀️ 4y
Cinfhen It‘s so weird that you‘re in the beginnings of real winter @Abailliekaras ❄️as I‘m 🥵 4y

Pickpick

This book was absolutely brilliant!!! What could‘ve been a dry drudgery was in fact a riveting page turner. Anne Perkins covers 5 women and many others too as they become the first women to be admitted to Yale in 1969. This book explores much more than just the early days of coed education, it is follows the Vietnam War, segregation, the feminist movement and equal rights for women and minorities. This is truly #BookClubWorthy 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

TrishB Sounds great - stacking for now 👍🏻 5y

Cinfhen This book was beyond fascinating @TrishB I‘m so glad I picked it up for challenges but ended up with a 5 star read @4thhouseontheleft I think dad might like this one too @Centique 😘 5y
merelybookish Wow! 1969! That isn't that long ago. 😲 5y
Cinfhen Right!!! Only 50 years ago @merelybookish and it was quite a battle for them 😨really unbelievable, I think you‘d really appreciated his book. You too @Suet624 😘😘 5y
Suet624 I stacked it pretty darn quickly after reading your post. 😁 this time in history does not feel like ancient history to me. I feel like it will always be very present for me. 5y
Centique @Cinfhen I was wondering about this one for him! Thanks I‘ll add it to his list 😊👍 5y
Cinfhen I‘m glad @Centique 🧡 5y

Mehso-so

#MoreMehThanYeah If you haven‘t read this already, I wouldn‘t really recommend it.

While I appreciate Dunham‘s accomplishments, she certainly had a leg up with family and general NYC connections. There‘s nothing inherently wrong with having a privileged upbringing, but she just doesn‘t acknowledge that a lot of what she “learned” was due to that. 3⭐️

#somethingwrittenbyawoman #nonfiction2019

PS I do like how she stood up for women‘s health!

Lizpixie Wow. You are kicking butt in this challenge! #ChallengeQueen 6y
