Every Christmas morning as far back as I can recall, my folks would put the 1966 version of The Grinch on the TV while we were waiting for the family to arrive. It wasn't Christmas quite yet without having watched this delightful classic.

pickFilled with references from standard classics in the illustrations, this seems very nostalgic and may be a great gift for someone who loves the classic. It was published in 2016 and it had escaped my notice this whole time.
pickI reread this for bookclub, and it was a nice visit to memory lane. I must have been quite young when I read it last. It‘s still delightful.
