Mehso-so

I don‘t get the hype; almost end at 40%. Political intrigue did strike good around 65%. This is a story of betrayal and survival in a world where a human is seen as beneath dirt. Jude is tough with her sass and desire to do something to make her powerful enough to not be bullied. I do not like Carden. Just because a bully is justified in their why, doesn‘t mean he‘s forgiven. He seems too far into manipulation- like Jude became in her own rite.

Absolutely loving reading this series. I got very grumpy with anything which took me away from reading this. Manon is probably one of the highlights of this book - such a great character with amazing development. Need the next one ASAP!

I never thought I would enjoy this genre of book before but oh my I do. There is everything in them. Laughter, cringes, excitement, light horror, thrills, chills, and tears.

This book takes on another ride with the Faes. You get get to know a bit more about each character. More about their lives, fears, and loves. More about their strengths and weaknesses. More about their truths.

Twenty four hours later, and I‘m still processing the ending of this book. The book is an adrenaline rush from beginning to end, but I really didn‘t see the conclusion coming. Even more characters added to this installment of the series, things I thought were a given turned in their heads. This is so different from what I normally read, but I love it.

I thought the ending to the last one would motivate me to read this one - it did not. First book in series was great, second was low pick, and after sending my hold back twice on this one, I finally accepted it. Each time I go to read - it is meh - I'm just not excited to get back to it. #unpopularopinion but I am letting go of this series.

Make a great day everyone 📚

5feet.of.fury I am surprised! but it can‘t be for everyone. Mist and Fury & Wings and Ruin were my faves (but the next 2 were eh IMO) 2w

Very interesting worldbuilding and love story though at this point there isn't real romance - hopefully yet to come! Very dark, misogynistic setting. Be aware of trigger warnings! I liked the dark atmosphere, the ominous feeling and mystery. The hidden identity was early obvious but it was nice to catch up on all the hints.
