This didn‘t quite live up@to the hype, but it was still a good read. I‘m super excited to have the whole series in front of me yet. I loved the interweaving of fairytales. Beauty and the Beast, Vasalisa and the Doll, Bluebeard, Baba Yaga. So good.

Romantasy. I love thrillers and horror a lot too so it's hard to pick.

I enjoyed reading it, but it definitely felt like an in-betweener. Nothing too significant happened plot-wise. Characters are recovering from the war, relationships and friendships are growing. Whole thing leads up to Winter Solstice.
This one was a little... fluffy. Maybe unnecessary, but there are definitely kernels of details that might be important later. #29-2025
That was a long one! Went all the way from Feyre faking it in Tamljn‘s court to starting and ending the war with Hybern! Lots of exciting revelations in here.
Phew that was quite a read! So much happened that I‘m reeling a little, especially in the back third or so. Violent, bloody, and dark with magic, this world gets more and more complex as Celaena strives for freedom. Great characterizations, with quite a few surprises, and lots of plot twists to keep us guessing. Low key the pacing was a bit off, so I found it a bit slow going until quite near the end, but the payoff was pretty good.
Wow! I went into this fantasy completely blind and I wish the same for you so I‘m not going to say much. Just that it was great fun, remarkable world building and a fascinating cast of characters. Can‘t wait to read the next one when it comes out this fall.
