Act of Oblivion: A Novel | Robert Harris

so-so

Thought this was going to be an all action chase across counties to find the remaining killers of Charles I, but it just fell a bit flat for me. It wasn‘t all action and some parts were very dull for me. I know it‘s an accurate historical reflection of the time, but there is also a lot of religious stuff!

Book Report: Publishing Strategies, Writing Tips, and 101 Literary Ideas for Aspiring Authors and Poets | Mark Shaw

It was a busy and (mostly) fun week, capped off with a good day at the book festival. It was great to meet @Chrissyreadit and @wanderinglynn and enjoy a yummy dinner with them!

I only finished one book, but it was very good!

In 27 days I will leave for the #Gladstones #readingretreat and I want to start over with a clean slate of library books when I get back, so that list will be “reshaped” over the next few weeks ⬇️

Susanita In other words, I‘m in the process of returning some books unread. I got a little carried away with checkouts and holds, and I don‘t even know what I have right now! Don‘t get me started on books I picked up from the LFL! 2y
