Three siblings take a crash course through how not to handle holiday romances, and the punches keep coming. I read this over the summer and enjoyed it. Each character's story is interesting and well-paced, with a satisfying conclusion. I almost felt overwhelmed by so many things happening at once but it felt balanced enough to keep me going. Do read the content warnings. #LGBTQIA #Holdays #HolidayRomance

The stakes in this volume feel much higher than other volumes as Natsume draws the attention of a terrifying clan of exorsists. Very interesting developments and setting the stage for later conflict. I adored the bonus chapter where Natsume tries to teach the yokai human games. #Manga

This was a cookbook that I enjoyed reading all the way through, as it contained interesting history about how curries evolved in different parts of the world and lots of tips on using different spices. I made a baharat spice mix from one of the recipes and hope to try a few more recipes before I return this book to the library.

This book seems to be a Japanese classic, but I've only just discovered it, thanks to various Litsy challenges that inspire me to try out new authors! I really enjoyed it and will look for more books featuring the eccentric detective Kosuke Kindaichi.

One of my favorite things about this series other than how pretty and fun to read it is would have to be the way Natsume builds friendships everywhere he goes. It feels like there are two Book of Friends--the one from his grandma and the manga itself. #Manga #Friendship
