Released during George W Bush‘s second term it is just as relevant today, providing insight and understanding to the road paved for where Trump now stands. The lessons regarding framing issues and how to change course are strong and worthy, but somehow have been missed by the mainstream left. It‘s a good read, I recommend highly, but damn it‘s sad reading this now, little of this implemented in the decades since. Dems, read it!

Reading the tagged to get a sense for what my neighbors to the south might have to deal with if Republicans win. Have been slightly under the weather for a while. Just finished a book though. I am also enjoying listening to the few episodes of #houseofhalliwell that they managed to include Shannen Doherty in. And Scott Patterson's #iamallin is giving me life. #saturdaychatterday

Watching the Olympic Opening Ceremony. Apparently Lady GaGa‘s singing/dance routine was not rehearsed. She is amazing. 🎶 👩🏻‍🎤💃

July is the last full month of freedom before my kids and I must return to school (one more year, for me! Sorry kids!). So it‘s a bittersweet month. I can‘t believe how fast this year is flying by. As my dad says, “The days are long, but the years are short.” Here‘s my #BookSpin list for the last bit of sweet summer freedom! ☺️

BarbaraBB Enjoy that last month ❤️ 2y
AshleyHoss820 @BarbaraBB The weather here has been mercifully mild, so we are trying to make the most of it!! ☺️🧡 2y

The Undefeated is a book with beautiful illustrations and emotional meaning. The book allows adults to teach kids about a tragic topic without being graphic. At the back of a book it connects historical figures with quotes throughout the book allowing the reader to move past the meaning full quotes to gain knowledge about figures and events featured through out the book.

Very good intro to the subject, readable in a couple of days. Great series of books.

A great refreshing of classic liberalism for our times, and a reminder we must all resist encroachments on free speech. ‘Sunlight is the best disinfectant.‘
