pickThis was a great story of friendship, love, and resistance during the WWII occupation of Jersey, one of the Channel Islands. I enjoyed the stories of this community focused around two best friends, Grace and Bea, as they work against the oppression of Nazi occupation. There were also wonderful historical notes at the end.

pickThis was a cute book. I enjoyed reading it. I loved that it took place in Ireland a place that I have always wanted to visit. The characters were good. I rated the book a 3 out of 5 stars.

It‘s the Halloween season in the Outer Banks, and there‘s an eerie feeling in the air in this fourth installment in the cozy mystery series, Lighthouse Library Mystery Series.

pickThis isn‘t my 1st Henry book- but it might be my favorite. It‘s a rom com style book that‘s not cheesy, and impossible to put down. If you need a light hearted read where you will love (most of) the characters- read it!!

Major Announcement Here: I am moving as I have accepted a librarian position. Starting November third, I will be the county librarian at the Shepherd-Pruden Public Library in Edenton, NC. Edenton is a historic town located on the Edenton Bay in the Inner Banks area of North Carolina. You can see more about it here:

pickThis is the 2nd Emily Henry book I‘ve read (the other being Book Lovers). I really loved this one! I loved how Daphne was a children‘s librarian & the set up of the novel. I really respected her as a character. I‘m new to the romance genre & this one was highly recommended & I‘m glad I read it! I would love 2 see this adapted to film or tv! I appreciated the connection Daphne had with her mom & the struggles she had with her dad. I could relate.

pickI liked this. I mean, I had a few quibbles, but, at this moment, it worked for me.
