I am officially a Murderbot fan! This book packs so much into just a few pages.
Its a quick read that will have you glued to the pages and screaming for more. Murdotbot, just might have a heart and I want to see it develop. And see what type of trouble he can get himself into.

shanaqui I juuuust reread this today! I love Murderbot's snarky “aarrgggh people noooo“ reactions.

(Sidenote: I find it really odd when people call Murderbot “he“ -- or she! I'm fairly sure it states pronouns as “it“, and I've managed to log those even though so very few *people* use that for themselves. Gave me a jolt just now reading this review/comments. 😅) 5y

LibrarianRyan @Saw629 I think I would. It takes place on a Tera firma but it‘s more an action/thriller. Murderbot is a security guard who has a job to do. Plus it‘s short. It isn‘t bogged down like many sci-fi are. Researchers are on a new world determining what it is, so the author doesn‘t have to delve too much into the world. Plus it‘s a great character study. It‘s easy to forget murderbot isn‘t a “man” because it feels like one. 5y

4⭐️ This book is funny, sweet, and endearing. It is your typical romance novel with bends not normally seen. Esme speaks very little english, but doesn‘t let that stop her. Khai is on the autism spectrum, and while it may take a few lessons and finding new ways to talk to and about himself, he to is learning. Over all this was a fun romp. I cant wait till the next one.
