pickFinished this one yesterday. This one is set on a witchy island that has a ward that makes any visitors need to leave after 2 days except for Luke. It seems the island wants him there. A murder happens, so they need to figure out who did it because everyone suspects Luke.

pickThis novel is available on Kindle Unlimited, an unemployed veteran/EMT is offered a position as Butler to a rich elderly gentleman. It‘s not long before Mulligan realizes that his employer is a wizard and pixies are helping with the dusting. I found this a quiet lovely escape. This is a favorite amongst my scholars and as you see the book is a little seasoned which lets me know it‘s been loved on quite a bit.

Zathura is a spinoff of Jumanji The original Jumanji movie stays close to the original book. Zathura was also made into a pretty fun movie, but there connection to Jumanji was never made within its plot. And the movie is quite a bit different from the book. Two brothers are playing outside and discover the game Jumanji. However, it contains a second board with a trip to Zathura.
