Glad I read my #TBRtarot pick right after the Grave Mercy Series so it‘s fresh in my mind. This one follows Sybella in the French Court where she‘s trying to find more of the female nun assassins assigned there in secret so we do get to meet some new characters. We get to meet Genevieve and see her POV and hope Sybella finds her in time. Of course we still get some real history woven in! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

kwmg40 I was wondering what book to use for “mansion“ and I hadn't realized the ND book involved a mansion! Do you know if both the original and the updated version feature mansions? 2w

Ruthiella @kwmg40 It‘s a little bit of a stretch with the 1970 edition that I‘m reading but totally works for the 1937 version. Per Wikipedia, in the 1937 book the statue is on an abandoned estate (mansion!). In the 1970 book, the statue is stolen from a yacht club that I think was a former estate (mansion!). 2w

kwmg40 @Ruthiella Thanks for the info! I'll go for the 1937 edition. It's in the public domain in Canada so I can get it free from Faded Page (unfortunately not available to US and most other countries). 2w
