I live in a small (tiny) town, so I do my fair share of substituting when it comes to recipes, but I don't think I'd ever go that route lol

This might be my year to read more Murder, She Wrote books (such good comfort reading). A fitness guy is found dead in his gym, and Jessica has to clear a friend‘s name. My one quibble: I‘m not sure why authors are insistent that librarians will give away library card info (address, books out, etc.). That‘s a privacy issue! And even Jessica Fletcher would not get that from my lips. 😂
I enjoy these books more when George isn't in them. The quasi sort-of budding romance aspect feels too forced & not at all like Jessica to me.
This one's a January Book Bingo selection as well as part of a series (in fact, all the books I've read so far this month have been from different series ... never you mind how many are new series started lol).

Taking a few minutes to myself before I have to jump up to get supper cooked then head to work
Trying to get these mittens done for my niece in case my dad comes by tomorrow so I can send them up to her, but also really want to read my book. Guess it's time to switch to the ebook

I‘m not the target audience, as I‘m about as far from having a green thumb as possible (I manage to kill even the hardiest ones!) & despite my deep love for #MurderSheWrote (referenced within the book!), #CozyMysteries aren‘t my go-to. Maggie returns to the small MA town where her grandmother raised her after the collapse of her marriage. Dodging a greedy cousin & persistent real estate developer, she finds a body & investigates! Too predictable!
Jessica is invite to Mexico to spend some time with friends. The friends didn‘t get the memo that wherever Jessica goes murder follows (and I say that with lots of love because I adore Murder, She Wrote). Jessica has to sift through the clues to find the killer (and a kidnapper too). Fast read. I loved the cultural references in this one…a quick lesson in rural Mexico. #192025 #2005
It's a good day to check back in with the happenings in Cabot Cove
Finished another adventure with Mrs. Fletcher
Love this series! Perfect series to read if you loved the show. Terrie Farley Moran is the newest writer on the series and she‘s my favorite. Donald Bain was also excellent, but the few by Jon Land don‘t quite capture Jessica Fletcher‘s voice. #hauntedshelf #hexesandcrows @Catsandbooks
