If anyone's still looking for a good seasonal read, I highly recommend this. I read it few Halloweens ago and loved the unique blend of horror and comedy. I was laughing one second and somehow terrified the next. Maybe because it simulates that feeling of being inside a dream so well, where you have a sense of dread but aren't really positive if it's going to turn into a nightmare. This one does..again and again 💀🎃 😱

After Beethoven‘s death in 1827, a love letter (written over the course of two days) was found amongst his personal papers. The identity of the letter‘s recipient, his “Immortal Beloved”, remains a mystery to this day and continues to generate debate. 🖤🖤

While this book focuses mostly on Gradle, her grandpa Leonard has always been haunted by his first love, and even moreso when they move to a crumbling, haunted house.

I read more series this year than I normally do. One of my favorites is Cronin's ambitious, memorable vampire trilogy.

#myimmortal is Casca. My husbands favorite book series. He used to tell me about them on phone dates cross country.

This book wasn‘t what I was expecting at all. Very character driven in the first half, which I loved. A slow building tension. The second half was a little much for me, but it had that cheesy horror that the 70s and 80s did so well. And the ending was 👍🏻👍🏻. So overall a pick for me, although this is the only time of year I seem to enjoy this genre.

This is a group read on LibraryThing with @Andrew65 and they are trying to find LaMedusa, a mirror, which when you gaze into it gives you immortal life.

Such a moving story and one I think everyone should read! #MyImmortal #OctoberXFiles
