My current journal 📓 (The tagged book is really good btw. If you are into journaling or want to get into it, The New Diary is a great read.)

A journal I kept a few years ago. I definitely wrote about very emotional things, which is pretty appropriate considering it's Fitzgerald. #riotgrams #NotebooksJournals

Day 4 #riotgrams is #notebooksjournals. These are the three I am currently using: the tree of life journal is for my personal writings and poems, the cream Moleskine is for reading notes, and the blue Moleskine is my BuJo. @bookriot

#riotgrams catch up day 4 #notebooksjournals - these are just my current journals. One is for current reads, another for book challenges, another for book marathons, one is for TBRs, another is just general book ramblings, one for book shopping and library upkeep and another for lists- I take my book journaling very seriously lol

CocoReads Me too. 7y

Here's my current Books to Read journal. I also have a detailed spreadsheet but this is the one I use for quick pen & paper situations. #riotgrams #notebooksjournals

I hunted down this Facebook post from a couple years back... this journal isn't quite as visually epic as my two-volume scrapbook/journal from my study abroad semester in Italy, but I do believe this one went to more countries. (And I didn't feel like rummaging through boxes to find and snap a picture of the Italy journals!)

#riotgrams Day 4 I usually just track on Goodreads, but this year I started a journal to keep up with challenges and anything else book related. #notebooksjournals

I keep three #notebooksjournals for reading - one that has details about the books as I read them, including thoughts, reviews, and quotes; one that tracks monthly summaries to make the end of the month Litsy stat post easy to create, and one for details on the books for the Litsy postal book club #24hourreadingroom. #riotgrams

JazzFeathers That's awesome. I'm still new to Listy and l still don't really get hiw the postal book club works. I see all of your post but l don't understand how to take part. Is there a place where l can read the rules? 7y
DGRachel Every so often, someone will post a call for interested participants. I don't think there are official rules written anywhere. But, basically, once the group is formed, the moderators determine the shipping order, each person selects a book, and mails their book along with a journal to their assigned person and receive a book. You read the book you receive, write notes in the journal, and then mail that book onto your person in a given time frame 7y
DGRachel There are 22 people in my group, in the US, Canada, and Europe and we ship the books out every 6 weeks. It's interesting to see what everyone selected to share (I think our group rule was that it had to be under 400 pages, but each group can set their own rules there). It'll take about two years or so before my book makes its way back to me with everyone's comments. 7y

DGRachel @JazzFeathers (sorry - meant to tag you so you'd see my comments) 7y
JazzFeathers @DGRachel l see. I thought it was like gifting books, instead is more like lending books, isn't it? I remember something simlar when when l was a kid. It was only postal, there would be a booklet and everyone would send it to a penpal after writing a thought on it. It's something the like, isn't it? 7y
DGRachel @JazzFeathers Yes, it's more like that. The book you pick gets sent to the whole group and eventually comes back to you with everyone's thoughts while you've had the opportunity to read and comment on all the other books. It's interesting seeing what others choose, but I will say that the international shipping costs took me by surprise and had I realized what it would cost, I probably would not have signed up. 😳 7y
