I have several books I‘m trying to finish that might end up in my queue, but this is a mostly complete list for July. 🤩 I will be trying to continue to finish some #SeriesLove in the following month, but got a lot of my #roll100 caught up and #FairyTaleRetellingChallenge is caught up! 😍 Next will be my #DolittleDiscussion and #LosersClub

3✨ Time has passed and a sort of peace has been felt by our characters. While I appreciated the adventure that this book provided. I was getting tired of the constant females overpowering males with their bodies as well as spells about sex and pain. Overall, I liked the series, characters, action, and plot line. #SeriesLove (5/5) @TheSpineView @Andrew65

3✨I‘m glad I stuck this one out. Each book in the series followed a different high school student, and this started out rocky for me. Withholding the truth or lying is not something I like in a character, but when the truth came out it was pretty interesting after that. Book 3 in this series, Petra looks for a man gone missing from a cohort of unlikeable Americans who have returned to #Greenland for mysterious reasons. Petra is put in peril this time and the shaman isn‘t here to help. Unfortunately, the “motives” are complex and convoluted. I got the general idea, but I couldn‘t connect the dots. It‘s still a pick, but lesser so than prior novellas. #foodandlit @Catsandbooks #serieslove @TheSpineView @Andrew65

Shaman Tuukula and his little daughter Luui help Constable Petra look for a missing girl whose cleft palate helps her talk to ravens but makes her the subject of school bullies. The girl‘s father hates ravens and takes the blame for the girl going missing. This is Petra‘s second foray on the missing persons desk in Nuuk, #Greenland, and it‘s another satisfying story in the series. #serieslove @TheSpineView @Andrew65 #foodandlit @Catsandbooks

A year ago a boy on the northern western coast of #Greenland disappeared. When new constable Petra answers her first phone call, she finds she‘s become the missing persons department at Nuuk. With the help of an elderly shaman and his young daughter, Petra follows the leads to find the boy—the first hint being that he took a narwhal‘s rare double tooth and may be trying to sell it. An excellent start to this series. #foodandlit @Catsandbooks

3✨ A lot is going on in here for all the families through the series. We fast forwarded through time to see their kids are grown, but we also see they all still love each other very much. Coming together for the holidays to reconnect, and surprise. I‘m sad there is only one more book in the series, but have enjoyed the ride. #SeriesLove @Andrew65 @TheSpineView

I finished both of these books last night. Vacation has been a very productive reading time! I‘m now trying to catch up on long overdue book reviews.
