I would like to try Stephen King again. I used to have a short story collection of his, but it didn't do it for me, so I would like to read his more mainstream work.
Ready Player One by Ernest Cline, you'd think I'd like this book because it's very nerdy but it mostly felt like an excuse to shove as many nerdy references in a book as the author could and it lacked substance.

Lots & lots of references to other King properties (I know I missed some)
It was weird, some parts were over the top, but this series always had been pretty random since the start so it‘s fitting. It has a lot of heart.

pickThis King story is a one-last-job-and-I‘m-done-forever trope, & classic King had to make it with a special twist. I loved the characters & would read another book about all of the “good” ones. I was really surprised at the intricate combat descriptions coming from author with no military background.
Today I had about 100 pages to go & had to finish it!
Great “summer” read!
