pickI loved this ghost story by Simone St. James. She did an excellent job slipping back and forth in the story from Vermont 2014 to Vermont 1950. Idlewild Hall is a place for the girls whom no one wants. Rumors that the place is haunted - girls have disappeared. Fiona Sheridan sister's death at Idlewild Hall haunts her. Fiona discovers that Idlewild Hall is being restored. Discovery links her sister to secrets from the past. This book is quite eery.
so-so#botm pick from March, which I read and finished last month, but I have been slacking with my reviews. I found The Broken Girls to be just alright. I really loved the POVs from the 50‘s, but with the flipping back and forth of POVs disturbed the flow of the book in my opinion. By the end I guessed something‘s and was bored.
