⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I wanted something light and not demanding while working around the house and yard over the weekend and this fit the bill. History of the show and in-depth summaries and reviews of several important episodes. It was perfectly pleasant and a nice reminder of the warm fuzzies I got from watching the show a couple of years ago.

After the European Championship was over, I wasn't quite ready to let soccer playing women go. So I got this audiobook and could enjoy some more of those. Spicy scenes inclusive. The story works just like any other romance, so no surprises on this side, but that's okay. I enjoyed the ADHD and autism rep, those two always seem to find each other 😄

This is a challenging read but once you get into the rhythm of the prose style it is immensely rewarding. Bill Shankly is a complicated character ,obsessive about football and success for Liverpool fc, but also incredibly humble and humane. The last 200 pages when we follow him in retirement are incredibly moving with his willingness to talk to anyone at anytime being notable. If the stories told are true it is a remarkable tribute to a great man.

I am very excited to read the tagged book!

So unnecessarily long. This could have been about 400 pages shorter. Also, both characters were boring.

I‘m still chasing the goodness of the first book I read by this author… and this was just so-so. There were some good scenes and live the small town, but didn‘t believe in these characters or their relationship. The upside: 3 squares for April‘s #ISpyBingo and 1 for March, plus a #WickedWord - Massachusetts.

Trix could not remember this and, given her current interest in historical disasters via the I Survive series, I thought she may enjoy a re-listen. It is an amazing story

I loved the show & hearing the backstory as well as how the cast talks about the characters, the stories & each other only made me love it more.
